up to 10.9), Linux®

Installation

Note: Supplying external power is optional, however to ensure

that each USB port is fully powered, connecting external power is

recommended.

1. If not using external power, skip to Step 3.

2. Connect the included power adapter to an AC outlet, then to the

USB hub. The USB port LEDs (blue) will only turn on if you have a

device connected.

3. Connect the included USB A-B cable from the USB Hub (type-B

port) to the host computer system.

NOTE: If connected to a USB 2.0 host port, the hub will only

operate at USB 2.0 speeds.

4. The operating system should detect the USB Hub immediately

and automatically install it.

5. Once installation is complete, USB devices should be able to be

connected to the hub and recognized.
