Services Conﬁguration

You can manually enable or disable network servers from the command

line. For example, if you wanted to guarantee the following server con-

ﬁguration:

HTTP Server: Enabled

HTTPS Server: Disabled

Telnet Server: Disabled

SSH Server: Enabled

SNMP Server: Disabled

Ping Replies (Respond to ICMP echo requests): Disabled

You would need to issue the following commands from the command line

to set system conﬁguration:

  #/bin/cong–-set=cong.services.http.enabled=on

  #/bin/cong–-del=cong.services.https.enabled

  #/bin/cong–-del=cong.services.telnet.enabled

  #/bin/cong–-set=cong.services.ssh.enabled=on

  #/bin/cong–-del=cong.services.snmp.enabled

  #/bin/cong–-del=cong.services.pingreply.enabled

The following command will synchronize the live system with the new

conﬁguration.

#/bin/cong–-run=services
